Jennifer Aniston: dogs are good training for children, won’t do Friends movie
When I read that Aniston said dogs were good preparation for children I initially thought she said that dogs were like children and I thought “oh brother.” It sometimes bothers me when people compare my child to their dog and it can come across as callous despite best intentions. That’s not what she said though. An LA Times journalist asked Jennifer Aniston if she thought dogs were good preparation for children, and she immediately agreed. She was also in one of those press interviews where she’s probably been talking for hours, and in the video she looks kind of uncomfortable like she’s been put on the spot all day:They did bring their own dogs on the set. But not ON the actual sets after one of Jen’s dogs, Norman, well, christened the fake lawn.[From LATimes Dish Rag]
Is getting a dog a good way to prepare for having children, the Dish Rag asked the two single, childless, dog-owning stars.
Oh, yes, agreed Jen, citing the “commitment of training them, cleaning up after them, loving them unconditionally and getting home to feed them.”
Asked what dog trait they think humans should emulate, Jen thinks of something but then just giggles. Owen recovers and talks about all the unconditional love dogs give.
“And they don’t talk,” adds Jen.
Yeah, that’s a plus. Not like some chatterbox young musicians we could think of.
What’s more is that they add that they asked Aniston off camera if she will ever do a “Friends” movie. Her answer: “I hope not.”
I really loved “Friends” and while I can see how Aniston wouldn’t want to go back to it, a movie could be very successful for her and her former co-stars, who have been struggling with their careers since the series wrapped in 2004. They made it work for “Sex and The City” and maybe Aniston shouldn’t close that door. There was that whole sexual harassment scandal with the “Friends” writers and maybe it was a bad working environment in some respects and that could play into it. Aniston’s got her production company and her other career now anyway. She also claims that dogs are “absolutely” good training for children. I wonder how she thinks she can answer that with such certainty.
You can watch the video of Aniston’s interview on the Dish Rag’s website.

I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.
It kills me she had the nerve to tell people it's none of their effing business when she's pimping her personal (old) b.s. out to sell this movie. She's no better than the rest of them. From the description of that house it's kind of gross how materialistic she is.
Plus, what on earth would be the point of a 'friends' movie? It was just like 'Sex and the City', people with shallow, purposeless lives killing time til they meet the 'right one' so they can get married and breed. Once they do so, game over. They shop at Walmart and change diapers. If they weren't interesting before marriage, they sure as hell won't be afterwards.
Eh whatever, dogs are not that much like kids. Thats why I'm having dogs, not kids.
Why is she always rambling about nothing? And why do they always put those chinny pictures of her? She seems to be a somewhat attractive woman, so why not any better photos?
Dogs are not good training for children. Decide to have children or not, but don't delude yourself that you are ramping up to parenting.
I hope not, too. I thought it sucked hard enough the first time around. What’s more is that they add that they asked Aniston off camera if she will ever do a “Friends” movie. Her answer: “I hope not.”

Witty, isn't she.
She doesn't even consider the fact some of her 'friends' have no careers left and could use that Friends movie, I guess. (Not that any of them are on poor street.)
But she's above it now that she has such a fantastic movie career.
Or maybe she realizes that the public would just not be interested in seeing it! I know I wouldn't. Friends is not SATC.
I honestly don't know why people give her such a hard time? I don't think her interviews sound any worse than most of Hollywood. I think she appears humble compared to many stars out there.
Was the Friends movie casting trannies anyway?
Life ain't nothin' but bitches and money.
