Default Michelle Williams is sick of the paparazzi...talks about missing Heath Ledger

Michelle Williams is sick over how the paparazzi won't stop trying to get close to Matilda. Her motherly instincts are kicking in double time.

"It burns a fire inside of me, the s**t that I’ve seen people do to get at me or my daughter. I won’t forget it, and I won’t support it. I don’t want my daughter growing up feeling spied on or threatened."

Michelle even remembers one instance where she tried to reason with a photographer and show her a different light.

"I said, ‘You’re better than this. Look at you! You’re young, you’re able-bodied, you have a brightness in your eyes. You’re above this.’ But you know what? She didn’t go away."

The constant observation has prompted Williams to seriously think about leaving her home in New York - and walking away from her acting career:

"If it gets to the point where I can’t situate my life in a way that they stay away more, then I’ll drop a match on the thing. "I’ll be sad. I like to act. It’s saved my life over and over again. It’s given me a sense of self-esteem, self-worth. I have this thing that I’m in love with… and now it has this baggage."

And even though time has passed, Michelle still constantly thinks about losing Heath Ledger. How can she NOT when Matilda looks exactly like him?

"It’s so sad… I just wake up each day in a slightly different place. Grief is like a moving river. It’s a strange thing to say, because I’m at heart an optimistic person, but I would say, in some ways, it just gets worse. It’s just that the more time that passes, the more you miss someone."

I dunno, maybe she shouldn't have been a celeb? Unfortunately in that industry you are going to get inundated with photogs and fans. Not to worry though maybe there will come a time all the paparazzi will stop coming and people will say, Michelle who.

Or she could move out of NYC, there wouldn't be as many paparazzi. They would get bored after a while.

This is one I feel sorry for, because she's always tried to keep a low profile, so did Heath. Heath dies and they get photographed everywhere, especially when Matilda looks so much like him. So they're always going to have problems.

As for what she said to the photographer, they probably make more money being a photog than you would working at a fast food joint. It wouldn't be the worst paying job in the world.

I don't recall seeing very much about her. I don't know what she's complaining about.

Part of the problem is you get other celebs whoring their kids for the paps for all they are worth, which then makes other celeb kids fair game in the eyes of the paps. TomKat, Brangelina and Co, would really be screwed if privacy laws were brought in that forbade the photographing or publishing of celebuspawn without digital distortion of their features.

^^And people chlamor to buy photos of celeb kids which is why they fetch top dollar. But you are right, without certain ones whoring their kids to burnish their images this would be much less of a problem.

I agree that they are getting photographed everywhere because Matilda resembles Heath so much. Michelle seems to keep a low profile so I do hope for her sake, the curiosity level dies down.

I can respect her for trying to protect her daughter. It really bothers me to see persons such as Katie Cruise parading their children around in front of the paps. It must be terrifying.

Equally terrifying is some of the excuses the TomKat fanatics come out with the explain away Slurpi's obvious distress as being something cute and positive and yet another reason she's the most faaabulous spawn to ever come from a turkey baster. They see an oscar winning actress in the making who's playing up for the press for all she's worth. I see a kid shitting a brick in terror.

If you want the media to stop hounding you, maybe the first step would be to stop talking about yourself to them in interviews. Next, don't live in a high coverage area like NY or LA.

She chose to be a celebrity. I don't feel sorry for her. If she really has this much of a problem with the ramifications of that choice, she has plenty of resources and can easily alter her lifestyle.

She's been whining about this for a long time. I believe that she doesn't like it, but I also don't care. It sucks her kid has to deal with it, but she could move. There's ways to avoid it. She'd have to work harder, but it's not impossible.
