Sienna Miller has moved back to London amid reports that her relationship with married American actor Balthazar Getty is on the rocks.

Friends say the 26-year-old actress fears the relationship is ‘as good as over’ because the father of four has refused to file for divorce from his wife of eight years, LA-based clothes designer Rosetta Millington.

Sources in America last night confirmed that the couple have also had a series of rows about how much time Sienna spends socialising.

While she enjoys drinking and partying, Balthazar, a former addict who stars in the TV show Brothers And Sisters, prefers a quieter life.

Sienna, who was once engaged to Jude Law, had been living with Balthazar, the 33-year-old millionaire great-grandson of the late Jean Paul Getty, in Los Angeles since summer.

Friends say she was hoping to set up home with the oil heir permanently, but flew home to London last week following a series of rows, saying she wanted a ‘cooling-off’ period.

The couple were photographed together in Italy on the Amalfi coast last month and were pictured kissing in New York just last week.

But sources close to Sienna say they have been rowing frequently and she is ‘paranoid’ that Getty will go back to his estranged wife and his children.

A source said: ‘Sienna is back in London to give them both some cooling-off time. They are still together at the moment but she has said things aren’t good. There have been some pretty unpleasant rows, largely over Balthazar’s reluctance to commit.

‘She has really wanted to be able to step out as a couple but Balthazar is very torn over his children and it looks like he might be wanting to go back to his family. Sienna is devastated.
She knows she’s been branded a marriage wrecker but she swears it isn’t the case. She says the marriage was over when she and Balthazar met and that he was ready to move on.

‘He promised her the earth but he hasn’t kept to any of his promises and has made no moves as far as a divorce is concerned.

‘Sienna is totally paranoid he is going to go back to his family. She feels very let down by Balthazar.’

News of their affair broke when they were pictured together in Prague in the summer on the set of Sienna’s movie GI Joe. The couple were seen embracing just weeks after she separated from Welsh actor Rhys Ifans.

Balthazar, who is still married to Rosetta, 38, was then pictured on a yacht in Italy with a topless Sienna. But friends say he has been in constant touch with his wife and has pleaded for a reconciliation.

Sienna’s love of partying is also said to have become a problem. Balthazar is a reformed alcoholic and drug addict who prefers private dinner parties, according to friends, while Sienna enjoys all-night raves and parties. The source said: ‘Sienna has been missing her party lifestyle. She has come back to have some fun and forget about Balthazar for a while.’

A spokesman for the actress last night declined to comment.
