Felix and Oscar. Good grief.

LOL. It's still better than Trig.
Felix the cat, the wonderful, wonderful cat.
Great cat name, no so good for a baby.
Felix is a great name! My heathens have several friends with that name.

Don't you hate it when names become too popular? It happened with both Max and Jack...both great names but now they're going to the dogs through over use. Jake is also on the verge.

Haha, I wouldn't have even known that Felix and Oscar was potentially a reference to something if KristiB hadn't implied it.![]()
I have a friend called Felix. It's a pretty good name... quite common in German-speaking countries. IMO, it beats all the definitely overused Matts and Michaels and Daniels (erm, not that they're not lovely names, in case anyone has sons with those names...). You want to pick a name that isn't so common the kid'll probably have a classmate with the same name (and end up as "Chris P" the whole year), but which isn't so unusual it's weird. At least, that's my reasoning.
