It had to happen sooner or later. Unless Pamela Anderson considered the internet some kind of passing fancy, a curiosity that would eventually go the way of CB Radios or fanny packs, she knew this day would come.
For anyone living in a cave on the moon for the last 12 years: in 1996, the dawning of a new information age was heralded by the release of a 40 minute video featuring Anderson and her new husband, Tommy Lee, engaged in the physical act of love on their honeymoon. Arguably the burgeoning internet’s first “viral” video, the tape was disseminated across the planet in a matter of days, and Pam and Tommy were eventually awarded a $1.5 million settlement.
10 years later, the tape was featured in Sasha Baron Cohen’s “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan,” (much to the chagrin of Anderson’s new husband, Kid Rock).
According to Anderson, the two sons she has with Lee, now ages 10 and 12, recently revealed a wish to see “Borat,” prompting her to explain what most likely they already knew.
“I explained to them...'Mom and daddy run about naked all the time and we taped some things...and someone stole the tape,” she told England’s Daily Mail this week. “They really wanted to see ‘Borat’ and I finally had a breakdown and let them because all their friends had [seen it], and I said ‘there are a few things we have to talk about before you see ‘Borat.' “
“So, I did sit down with them and watch ‘Borat.’ I kind of went 'la la la’ over the parts I didn’t want them to hear...I tried to muddle through that.”
While Anderson notes she made the decision to watch the 2006 film with her kids “before they heard about it from their friends,” very likely it was them who had to muddle through the experience.
Unfortunately, in a time when 11 year-olds are getting busted for hacking iPhones and spending more time online than watching TV, we hate to break it to you Pam, but they had probably already heard about the sex tape.

So she let an 8 & 10 y/o watch "Borat"? I haven't seen it, but from what I heard, it didn't sound appropriate for kids.
I'm sure her kids will see her home video soon enough, if they haven't already.
Whatever.

I wonder how she'll explain the other sex tape she made with Bret Michael.

The kids are too young to see Borat, IMO. Those kids will be so embarrassed of their mum and her sex tapes.

Nothing like letting your kids watch a movie with you where an over-weight man is beating it to your old Baywatch pictures before getting into a naked man fight

Mom and daddy run about naked all the time ...
Who says that?

That story proved she is an irresponsible parent. Borat was not rated PG for a reason!
Sadly, this seems to be the trend. Young children are watching very mature movies at young ages.

If my parents had a sex tape floating about... oh boy, there's no way in hell i'd look for it, or watch it! I'm sure Pamela's boys will steer clear. Otherwise,

Yeah that pisses me off. I had to sneak to see such movies when I was young. That's how it's supposed to be. Parents who take all those little taboos away (the fun of being "a little bit" naughty and doing something relatively minor that's off limits...like watching a dirty movie) by being too "cool" are just asking for their kid to do something completely balls-out, off-the-charts insane in order to rebel, should they one day feel the inclination.

As if these poor kids weren't fucked up enough already.

I sneaked into one movie, Basic Instinct. My friends and I were in for all of three minutes when we felt the ushers hands on our shoulders.
I have family members who allow their under 10 year old children to engage in conversations with adults. They are allowed to watch movies not for children. They act like short adults and when they do something insane, the parents complain.
I have actually banned my child from spending time with family member's children because they are bad influences.

I wouldn't either, but I'm sure their friends would take an interest in it & be all like "look at this!" & that's how they'll end up seeing at least a nano-second of it. and that's one more nano-second than they'd ever want to, I'm sure!

not these days I'm afraid. Heck, over 10 years ago I seen "parents" take their little kids that could barely fit into the theater seats into movies like Blade and the like.
We live in different time nowadays.
