Tiger Woods expecting baby no. 2

Tiger Woods is going to be a daddy for the second time.

"Elin and I are proud to announce that we are expecting our second child in late winter," the golf champ wrote on his official Web site Tuesday.

"This has been a year of contrasts," Woods, 32, began. "I had a solid start to the season, won the U.S. Open in an exciting playoff, and then unfortunately had to shut it down after successful knee surgery."

Continued the athlete: "And now, I have some wonderful news to report. Sam is going to be a big sister."

Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren, welcomed Sam Alexis Woods, in June 2007. The couple also revealed photos of the newborn – a week after her birth – on Wood's official site.

"It was a dream come true for both Elin and myself," he said of fatherhood at the time. "I've been changing diapers and doing feedings. I definitely don't sleep now."

l like Tiger Woods. 32.... he's only 32 and like a gazillinaire..... he knows how to market himself and he's done really well.

I'd say he's my favorite sports figure and if I watch golf it's only because he's playing - the man is amazing. Not like Katieeee Holmes amazing I mean really amazing.

Yeah he's very down to earth and gentlemanly - a real sportsman, as opposed to a professional athlete. Liked the way he handled himself in that Kelly Tilghman incident. Did that girl ever resurface??

Congrats to them!

There are days I like Tiger and days I don't. I find him quite moody at times. I prefer Sidney Crosby as a favorite athlete. Now he's down to earth, full of class, good looking and mega-rich.
