Keith Urban has Nicole Kidman's name inked on his arm

Keith Urban has shown his devotion to Nicole Kidman with a new tattoo boasting her name.
The country music singer had his arm inked with his wife-of-one-year's name just weeks before she gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose. The proud dad showed off his decorated bicep as he headed through Los Angeles airport at the weekend.

The tattoo is not Urban's first. He already has Amor Vincit Omnia on his arm, which reads Love Conquers in Latin.

He and then girlfriend, supermodel Niki Taylor, had the matching tattoos during their relationship in the 90s.
He has now had this altered to include Nicole's initials.

Aside from thinking it's a monumentally bad idea to tattoo your significant other's name on your body, this looks like very, very, very shitty work.

Despite the fact that I honestly believe tattooing your significant other's name on your body is the kiss of death, I think it's sweet that he has done it.

For some reason, I just don't 'get' them as a couple: she seems so icy, perfect and refined, and he seems like the good old boy they couldn't root, shoot or electrocute. But seeing little things like this make me feel like maybe the perception I have of them is very different to the way they are...

Um, I think that's a horrible tattoo... and I'm SURE he could have just gone with his kid's name and claimed it was showing devotion to BOTH his daughter and his wife. Ugh...

1. Tattoing someone else's name on yourself is stupid for numerous reasons.

2. The tattoist should be slapped. The work is amateurish.

Some people are very different behind closed doors. I often come across as kind of frosty and aloof in public, but I'm really warm and affectionate at home.

I totally get these two as a couple. Nicole always looks so happy with Keith. I'm happy for them.

I completely agree with you - they both seem to be very happy and I wish them and their new little girl all the best. After TinyTom and his insensitive dumping and subsequent distancing of her from their adopted kids, she deserves loads of happiness and true love which Keith seems to provide. Neither has ever looked better, IMO.

I still dont get why they have to do the goo goo eyes thing at each other in public. It makes me a bit sick. That is just a lot of posing in my opinion. Other than that I think they look good together even though it probably wont last.
