Rapper Jay-Z: Why I won't confirm my marriage to Beyoncé

Jay-Z says privacy is the reason he and Beyonce won't talk about their wedding or marriage.
"I just think it's really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself," he tells Vibe in their September issue.
"You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you," the 38-year-old adds. "I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to."

Beyonce, 26, and Jay-Z tied the knot over three months ago in a "very special, very private, very intimate" rooftop ceremony, according to a source close to the pair. He was finally spotted with his wedding ring last week.
Beyonce also showed off her wedding ring for the first time on Wednesday, when she saw Jay-Z perform at Madison Square Garden.

Jay-Z also tells Vibe why he's a strong supporter of Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
"What [Obama] represents is, we as a people are part of the American Dream," he says. "We were left out of the dream at a certain point. Now the dream is, you can be anything – and it's not cliché."

The reason he and Beyonce don't confirm the marriage is because they want to keep people guessing, as if millions of people are really guessing. That crap about saving something sacred for himself is bullshit.

Maybe someone should tell him no one gives a damn. Maybe the authorities, since bestiality is illegal, but no one else. Bey would be the one investigated. The camel would be put in a zoo.

I appreciate what he's trying to say--that he doesn't want the media with their noses all in his marriage. It's their marriage and their life, so I can respect that. But why bother even mentioning it in an interview? We all know that Jay and Beyonce don't discuss their relationship. Just leave it at that and I think most people will leave them alone.

^^ I think she's beautiful just not all that bright, sort of a clone of what her parents want her to be. I bet her Dads still her manager and gets a piece of that pie. I was surprised Jay-Z married her, he was already getting it and I didn't think her parents would let it happen.

I'm a fan of hers and I understand that they want to keep their relationship a secret, but I feel that they take it too far. If they'd just said that they were married, it would have died down by now and then hiding their rings for FOUR months has stirred everything up again. It's starting to become annoying.

He is just trying to get people to give a shit. We know he is married. They were getting ALL the attention that week,then next week Mariah married Nick and stole their thunder, which they claim to not have wanted (Jay and B) If she signed a prenup she is dumb. That marriage wont last. Plus she is 26 and he is 40. And Ugly.
