'Wanted' actress Angelina Jolie is considering adopting a child orphaned in China's recent earthquake.

Angelina Jolie is considering adopting another child.

The 'Wanted' actress - who gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline last month - was so affected by footage of the recent earthquake in China she is contemplating giving a home to a child orphaned in the natural disaster.

A source told Britain's Star magazine: "Angelina is devastated over the earthquake that occurred in China in May. She has been in constant touch with relief workers as part of her UN involvement, and even got her hands on photos of a few orphaned kids.

"She's made overtures offering a home to one earthquake orphan, or even two if they are siblings."

As well as the twins, Angelina and her partner Brad Pitt also have three adopted children Zahara, three, seven-year-old Maddox and Pax, four, as well as naturally conceived Shiloh, two.

Angelina, 33, recently revealed her newborn babies are keeping her busy, but she is getting plenty of help from the rest of her family.

She said: "It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time. Shiloh calls the twins her babies. She and Zahara pick out their clothes, help change and hold them. It's sweet - they are like little mommies."

I have a friend who teaches at the french school in NYC where Maddox (the older boy) attended briefly and she confided in me that he was a complete unbridled terror who had no idea how to relate to other kids. And of course he was moved out of the school in no time flat without learning anything.
If Brangelina move their kids about from city to city without an opportunity to develop lasting frienships with other kids their own age their kids are not going to be well formed adolescents. I remember reading they had absolutely no structure at home either. This does not bode well for their future development!"

This is completely false. How do I know? Because I have a dossier sitting in China with a login date of 4-17-07, waiting to adopt my daughter. The wait from that date? SEVEN years. That is for any child adopted from China, unless its a waiting child (with special needs). That wait is closer to 12-18 months.

So if Angelina gets a baby from China before I do, I guarandamntee you I will raise the biggest stink ever with the Chinese Consulate and US Embassy you've ever seen.

Book it.

I have worked in the field for years and the children orphaned by the earthquake are not being placed unless it is with family members. There is far too much paperwork still for them to even sort out who is even orphaned at this point.

I think it was merely a comment and not a story.

From what I've learned in my sociology classes, there is actually no reason not to believe that the comment is true. Children need structure, routine, stability, and socialization with their peers. These things are very important and allow children to develop normal social and behavioral skills.

That's 20-fucking-million-dollars for the big-lipped spawn of Angelina and dumber-than-wet-paint Brad.

I usually tend to stay out of these threads because I don't really have a very consistent opinion of these two, but this is making me lean more towards "STFU you brother-fucking narcissist"...

and if she's really already planning on adopting a Chinese baby, AND bypassing all the protocol others need to go through to do the same, then she's seriously fucked up. Fucked up.
