Nicole Kidman's children unite

Nicole Kidman's adopted children Connor and Isabella met the actress' new baby over the weekend.

The 'Moulin Rouge!' star - who gave birth to Sunday Rose, her first child with husband Keith Urban, earlier this month - invited her children from her marriage to ex-husband Tom Cruise to meet the new addition to their family at her Nashville home.

An insider said: "Both Connor and Isabella were thrilled to meet their new sister."

It was recently claimed Tom had banned 15-year-old Isabella and 13-year-old Connor from being present when Nicole gave birth on July 7.

A source said: "The bottom line is that while Nicole really wanted them there, she didn't push for Isabella and Connor to be at the bedside because Tom wasn't happy about it.

"The irony is that she had the baby in the US partly because she wanted Connor and Isabella to have easy access to the child. But that doesn't seem to have helped things with Tom."

Initially it was widely reported she was going to have the baby in Australia. I think with Keith's concert dates, the high pap attention it would have garnered in Australia, and what is mentioned above [being closer to her other children] evidently changed that plan.

Tom's such an ass.

He's got something on her-probably the name of the father of the child she miscarried.

Me too. There's no need to mention it in every bloody article! You don't hear them constantly refer to "Gwyneth Paltrow's biological children Apple and Moses" or "Kate Hudson's biological son Ryder".

Honestly I dont understand how that could prevent her from gaining custody. Unless shes worried about her public image...people do have secrets they want to keep secret.
But Tom has treated her terribly. She's always gonna have me on her side.

I disagree, she moved from Australia to USA and has been trying to have contact with them. I think Tom's just an asshole and doesnt let her. Would you want to take on Co$? I'd be very hesitant to...

Like Sasha said, Tom probably "has something on her", AND, more importantly IMO, the extremely powerful *Church* of $cientology has got those kids brainwashed & under their control, and the *Church* does not allow its members to even associate with non-$cientologists. I am surprised that Nicole is allowed to even see her kids at all--But i think the *Church* is making an exception here because Nicole & the Cruise kids are public/famous figures, and to keep them from seeing their non-$cientologist mother (as, like i said, they do with all their other members) would make them look bad to the world. Still, the *Church* won't allow those kids & Nicole to have a close relationship because Nicole is not a member, and to defend Nicole, YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE *CHURCH* OF $CIENTOLOGY (as people who HAVE "messed" with it, and ended up KILLED for doing so, would tell you--if they weren't DEAD!).
