S&M Barbie doll causing waves
Looks like the people at Mattel are receiving some major backlash!
The toy makers have created a new Barbie doll which many are describing as the S&M Barbie.
The doll comes with black fishnet stockings, a black leotard, gloves, and boots.
S&M Barbie is being modeled after DC comic superhero Black Canary.
The Black Canary Barbie doll is scheduled to be released in September, but we'll see if that goes as planned.
Some are just outraged like the religious group Christian Voice, which said, “Barbie has always been on the tarty side and this is taking it too far. A children’s doll in sexually suggestive clothing is irresponsible – it’s filth.”
Poor Babs.
We bet if she was dressed as Wonder Woman no one would complain. And we all know Wonder Woman's outfit was a bit on the sexy side too!
Would U buy the Black Canary Barbie?

if my daughter was still into Barbies, we'd probably get it. and then my daughter would rip off the head.

LOL, Mistress Barbie? I love it. Although the heels aren't high enough
and she needs a whip accessory to beat Ken with. Hey why not take
it a step further and add in recorded obscenities when Ken
misbehaves? lol "Take my orders maggot!"

I don't see anything wrong with it, but at the same time it's fucking outrageous. Considering the way kids are today; in my day it would have been more innocent.

It's hardly more revealing than some of the other outfits Barbie sports, why are the fundies making noise over this particular one?
And she's modeled after a comic book character, it's not like she came with her own teeny-tiny nipple clamps and ball gag.

I love it, I love it, I love it. I hated Barbies when I grew up. The only thing I used to do with them was play French Revolution with them and use my mom's sharp knives and chop their heads off pretending that it was a guillotine. But a S&M Barbie. That has so many options. I could put her in the closet to have her keep my husbands Barbie Loves Elvis doll company.

my daughter never got into barbies - she likes the American Girl dolls but really only plays with them when friends come over.

My problem with this shit is how cheap it looks. If you're going to do S&M Barbie, don't phone it in - give her some thigh high boots and a decent weave.

Well I hope you used the appropriate cutlery.
Does this mean that Barbie is now an action figure??

Not something I'd buy for my girls, but they're not into Barbie anyway.
Looks like it's more for collectors.

My brother used to steal my Barbies, pull their heads off, fill their bodies with gas, put the head back on and set the hair on fire!! At first I'd be pissed, but would end up laughing. Good times.

It looks more like a collectors item than something you'd buy a kid. I think she looks cool!
