Mmm... ugly-ass clothes? so you never saw the silver-blue bias cut dresses that he produced in once of his first collections after art college then? Similar to what her produced for Dior this spring & featured on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine?

He's one of the most influential designers of our time, and once you remove the "set dressing" that a lot of people can't see past (the wigs & the make-up, etc) he produces beautifully cut clothes that are very wearable. For these pictures I fully expect to see menwear going back to longer coats and waistcoats this autumn or next spring..
Vivinne Westwood is another - she can cut and that is why they have lasted this long in an industry that will chew you up and spit you out in a nano-second if you can't cut it.
