I thought she did that by wearing see-thru shirts on the red carpet and with films such as Havoc....
Anne Hathaway's image change
Anne Hathaway is desperate to change her 'good girl' image.
The 25-year-old actress - who made her name starring in children's films 'The Princess Diaries' and 'Ella Enchanted' - insists she couldn't be more different from the public perception of her.
She said: "It's not that I'm all that bad. I just think that people had this idea that I sat at home and sucked on lollipops and ate cotton candy while I watched cartoons - wearing a tiara!"
Anne also revealed she has learnt to find ways to deal with problems in her life.
She added: "Problems find you. You don't need to seek them out. And that includes feeling badly about yourself. Life will find a way of messing you up. Life will throw some curveballs your way. You don't have to worry about that.
"I used to worry too much, take myself too seriously. I had to learn that perfectionism slows everything down. All it does is keep you motivated by fear."

Disney pretty much tossed her away after a pair of nude scenes in Havoc and Brokeback Mountain (right after Princess Diaries 2 was released). I don't think anyone ever pictured her sucking on lollipops while watching cartoons, though - WTF?
I saw a film today, oh boy.
Yup, all thespians need a change from the 'wholesome' image. how else are they gonna get the oscar without degrading themselves in movie roles?
She strikes me as being a total snob.
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
I dunno about her...she could be fun, maybe. But she is so right about perfectionism, and I can see her having those traits.
