The 'Project Catwalk' host revealed she wears Spanx body stockings "practically every day" to ensure she looks svelte under her tight dresses.
Kelly - who has previously come under fire for her appearance, and has attracted considerable media attention because of her famous family - insists she has changed in recent times.
She said: "For a long time people have told me I'm fat and ugly and a spoiled brat. The media perceived me in a certain way and I fell into it. But I've changed a lot over the past year.
"Now I think before I speak. I've grown up a bit and I'm choosing my own career path."
Kelly broke records as the youngest-ever actress to play Mama Morton in hit stage show 'Chicago' - but she admits she originally had her eye on a different role.
She added: "I'd auditioned for the lead role of Roxie but they didn't have time to teach me the dancing. When they offered me Mama Morton instead, my first reaction was to turn it down
"But then I thought, 'I've just been offered a fantastic role, I have to say yes.' "
