Anderson Cooper tries to use the word boo
CNN's Anderson Cooper tells superdelegate and commentator Donna Brazile that he wants to be her 'boo.'
Viseo:
RedLasso - "Anderson, You're Not My Boo"
(Informal transcript)
Anderson Cooper: Did he tell you in that phone conversation, that you had privately with him, about how he plans to do that? How he plans to reach out? How he plans to unify?
Donna Brazile: Of course he’s told everyone that he plans to sit down with Senator Clinton at the right time…”
Anderson Cooper: I’m looking for something he hasn’t told anyone else…just you.
[Laughter]
Donna Brazile: Anderson, you’re not my boo.
[More laughter]
Anderson Cooper: I wanna be your boo. [pause and laughter] I don’t really even know what that means.
[Brazile looks at her watch]
Donna Brazile: Anderson, are we still on TV?
Anderson Cooper: Yes we are
Donna Brazile: Well, I think I better watch my words
Anderson Cooper:I’m not sure that means exactly….someone can explain it to me later.

Haha, I was waiting for one of the pundits to say Obama gave baps to Michelle on stage.
I thought I remember the term 'baps' from way back as the fist bump, but when I googled it, it said it was slang for tits, LOL.

News commentators using urban slang? Good grief. The end is near.

What? BAPS was old slang for Black American Princesses. If you mean the greeting involving tapping of knuckles, it's dap or daps.
As for the "boo" usage, it sounds ridiculous to me except when used outside of the culture I am used to hearing it in.

I so despise the word urban. I've been in DC for 2 months, and people use the word urban as code for black.
My associates accuse me of being "too urban." Hmmm. If they accused me of being too black, everyone would be in an uproar.
