Default Mick Jagger & Jerry Hall’s son threatens suicide

Mick Jagger & Jerry Hallís Son Threatens Suicide

Former supermodel Jerry Hallís youngest son is so protective of her, he has banned her from having a boyfriend.

The Texan beauty, 51, admits 10-year-old Gabriel - from her marriage to rocker Mick Jagger - is sickened by the thought of his mother bringing someone home, and has even threatened suicide to persuade her to continue to live her life as a single mother.
    She says,
ďGabriel gets very angry with me if I work too much. And he absolutely hates the idea of me having a boyfriend. He says, ĎIf you get a boyfriend, I will kill myself.í
I say to him, ĎBut darling, you will grow up and get married one day and it would be nice for Mum to have some company.í And he says, ĎNo Mum, I am never going to leave you.í But thatís what boys are like, isnít it?Ē
NoÖ boyís arenít like that ó him threatening to kill himself is not normal!
And Hall insists sheís in no rush to marry again, because sheís happy on her own:
ďI think having a partner is a bonus, but I donít think itís a necessity. Iíve always had my own money and worked and looked after myself.
I do see people and have dates and I think love is a wonderful thing, but that hasnít really happened to me. I havenít fallen in love. Maybe it will happen one day. But I think it would probably be idiotic to marry again. It seems to me that you do that when you want to have children. And Iíve had mine.Ē
Hall has three other children with ex-husband Jagger: Elizabeth, 24; James, 22, and Georgia, 16. The couple split in 1999.

She seems like a lousy parent anyway.

She always struck me as a pretty good parent and I don't think the kid meant it literally-it sounds like a figure of speach. I like Jerry for some reason.

Kids do say some stupid stuff....and this sounds like one of those times.

Wonder how involved Mick is with ANY of these kids?

I read the whole article in the Sunday paper and according to her he's really involved.

I used that line all the time

'Mum, if you don't buy me this doll, i'm killing myself'.

    Kids will be kids.

Oh the drama. That kid was the golden Mommy's boy from the get go. Jerry and Mick split not long after he was born so of course there's a lot of emotional investment there. I bet she will go crazy with jellussy when he gets a boyfriend.

My son is 21 and would be totally happy if I never had a boyfriend again!! I just don't get it. He tells me I need to get out and meet people ... but if I meet a guy, he ALWAYS seems to find fault with them!

Sounds like the boy's about the right age for an Oedipal complex which most boys go through at the onset of puberty and quickly passes once the woodies begin and they show interest in reading the Victoria's Secret catalouge as soon as it arrives. I think Jerry and Mick are both smart enough to get him help if it was a real problem and media savvy to not reveal such a personal problem if it was serious.

i used to tell both my parents that if either of them died, i'd kill myself. and it would be their fault if i died because they'd let themselves die. lol
kids go through very needy phases when they say stupid shit like that. and maybe he's a bit of a momma's boy. either way, people shouldn't take it too literally.

everything i've ever seen or read about Jerry points to her being a great parent.
