She looks like an incredibly happy and content Grandmum.
Good on her for not giving a shit about Hollywood and being famous.
She concentrates on the suffering animals of the world.
How lovely is that? BTW you really have to see BB when she talks.
A lot of the age just fades away. Still photos don't do her justice.

I prefer her face to Joan Rivers' face, to name just one.

she was such a goddess in her youth and I love her for for her lack of vanity and self absorption and her desire to do something else that she considers important in her life.
Sure she's not a pretty sight anymore but honestly, you couldn't create a beauty like hers (when she was younger) with all the plastic surgery in the world.

It amazes me how her younger face is in there, though. The older face is a face that should be painted, as is the younger. Time and Life show on that old face - some of the most hideous old women were the most beautiful - anyone see Marianne Faithful in Marie Antoinette? Seen 60's model Jean Shrimpton lately? All women who have resisted PS and prefer to be themselves and no longer exist to please us visually. What confidence! I really admire them.

^And even older than that! True: she should be commended for not
falling into the PS trap, but she hasn't aged well, due to overdoses of
    sun and nicotine.

^You should HEAR her talk, too! The smoking has given her a deep
voice in old age, a bit scratchy, too. Oy.

    She looks terrible (sorry )
I'm tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep.

    Jesus, she's 70. She's not supposed to look good. She's a granny.

I think people are so used to seeing artificial faces that they can't stand the sight of a regular old person anymore.

You can't say 'It's admirable that she didn't get any ps", yet complain about her wrinkles. That doesn't make sense.

That's true. I actually have no problem with her wrinkles, but I have seen some older women who have less wrinkles, without PS. Just an observation.

I think we've turned into a Stepfordian/Twilight Zone society where any "flaw" or any sign of age is viewed almost as an ILLNESS, rather than just the course of life. The lengths people go to .....just to look 21 years old again....it's creepy, and it's sick. I love that Bardot doesn't give a damn. Why should she? This world is fickle and fleeting, and she knows that.

Her eyes are still the same. Beautiful eyes.

Most French ladies dont dye their hair, they grow old with dignity and the face they deserve..BB is still beautiful, she is an old lady but she rocks.
I d rather see her than S.Loren,s plastic work, and i like Sophia too..

La Bardot had probably so many men lusting after her all her life that she's glad that's over.

^Yes, I think she knows there are more important things to worry about and to aim for and to work for than giving guys a rise.

But she was so uber hot back in the day, I'm sure she's glad that she can walk down the street without guys drooling and choking all over the place.
