Rapper/actor Xzibit's newborn baby dies

Rapper and actor Xzibit's newborn son died early Monday morning.

According to a post on Xzibit's MySpace blog, Xavier Kingston Joiner was born prematurely on May 15. The rapper, whose real name is Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, says the baby's lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on their own and after a difficult week, Xavier died at 3:30 AM.

ITS 4:32AM AND I HAVE SOME BAD NEWS........

AS you all know, I shared with you the announcment of my newborn son Xavier Kingston Joiner on may 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurly. well this week was extremly difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own. Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, It is unatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when im having great times, life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, dont take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family. I am thankful for all of my blessings and im not one to question God's perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for the love that was sent earlier on my pervious blog to my son. Of course I need to take some time and handle my loss, STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE. Its not promised to any of us.

That is really sad, I didn't even know he was expecting. I remember his Cribs from a few years ago and he seemed like a good parent.

That talk really shits me. What's 'perfect' about God's 'perfect' plan involving the death of your son? Messed up talk.

Nonetheless, it's hard to lose a baby.

^While I don't agree with his wording, as a theist, I see what he's saying. People say "Everything happens for a reason..." That's not accurate....But I believe it's truer to say "We can always find a reason for everything."

Very sad, and I don't begrudge him dealing with it in his way. If he finds comfort in what he believes, that's what matters.

They must be devastated. I wonder how premature the birth was. Before 26 weeks the odds are not tipped in your favour.

Slightly OT: The 'god's perfect plan' bit irked me too. Why worship such a shitty god? If religion's what you like then fine. There are plenty about, yet you couldn't find a decent one to believe in?
