Megan Mullally coming back to TV
Alright, let’s all just confess…who loved Karen from Will & Grace?!? I did! And I am so happy to hear that she’s coming back to TV. Megan Mullally will be playing Alicia Silverstone’s bad mom in a new ABC comedy for next fall called Bad Mother’s Handbook.The series, which will receive an official pickup tomorrow at ABC’s upfront presentation, centers on a 32-year-old woman (Silverstone) juggling care of her 16-year-old daughter (Arrested Development’s Alia Shawkat) and her 48-year-old mother (Mullally).
Yeah, I’m definitely going to have to give this show a try. If Megan is half as hilarious in it as she was in Will & Grace, I think we’ll have a winner on our hands

Has anyone seen her in anything where she doesn't do the Karen voice? Cause to me, that was half the hysterical funniness about her character. The final over-the-top thing that made her the funniest one on W&G.
Will she be as funny without the ridiculous voice? I might be too "married" to the voice...

I saw her in something else and it wasn't the same. It's the brazen alcoholic with the high pitched voice that is funny, not the actress.
