Default Julia Roberts doesn't wear deodorant

Fragrant Julia Roberts Not A Fan Of Deodorants

Julia Roberts has a body hygiene secret - she never uses deodorant. The fragrant Oscar winner admits she has never been a fan of sprays and roll-ons and prefers to use nothing but soap and water to stay clean and fresh.
She says, "I don't like to share that with a large number of people, but it's just never been my thing."
But she always makes sure she smells good: "Sometimes, midday at work, I freshen up."

A couple of years ago I read a thing about deoderants and it said that the more you use them the more you needed them. So I did an experitment and stopped using them and in a very short period of time the only time I had underarm odor was after a workout. I think it's kind of like chap stick. If you use it all the time your lips depend on it but if you give it up they eventually 'remember' how to stay naturally moist.

Somehow this doesn't surprise me. Julia always seemed kind of stinky to me.

Well, most deodorants have all kind of chemical substances in them that are definitely not good in time. Some of them have been linked with breast cancer.

What's the big deal? Some people don't stink like animals so why use deodorant. Plus there are chemicals in it that have been linked to cancer, etc. Why risk it if you don't have to.

Now, not shaving is an entirely different issue - GROSS!

Why is not shaving gross? Having hair under your arms is as natural as having pubes. I shave but have been known to sport a full bush from time to time.

I'm actually inspired to try going without deoderant now. Thanks, Butt!!!
I always wanted to go natural...but going through that first couple of weeks without any deod on just killed me and I gave up I know I should've just stuck to it, my body was just adjusting...

I've also heard that deod may cause breast cancer, which is a concern of mine, but my doctor swears up and down that it dosn't. I don't really beleive him though...chemicals are never good, especailly in places that sweat ( or are suppose to)
