John Ritter's widow Amy Yasbeck wants new trial

JOHN RITTER's widow AMY YASBECK is seeking a new trial regarding her husband's death. The Associated Press obtained papers from CelebTV.com indicating that on April 1, Yasbeck filed a notice of intent to file a motion for a new trial; the papers go on to reveal that on April 10 she was granted an extension until May 1 to file the motion, according to the AP.
Last month, a jury found two doctors not at fault in the John Ritter wrongful death case. The docs were cleared of negligence in the treatment and untimely death of the actor, who had a heart condition and passed away in 2003 at the age of 54.

She must be so miserable and full of pain. But this isn't going to help. From what I read, they weren't at fault. He didn't follow medical advice or something. ?

She's not doing herself any favors by dragging this out over and over again. Sadly, I think she's doing this as a way to distract herself from the pain of losing her husband.

Jeeshhh Amy, let it go. The Dr.s didn't cause your husband's death. Dr.s aren't God, they can't always save every life. And if the money John left you isn't enough for you, maybe you can find work to earn cash instead of getting all lawsuit happy.
