JK Rowling shouldn't be number one, or even top 5. I don't think she's anywhere near as talented or creative as she gets credit for. Personally, I could hardly get through a whole book. I thought they were very tedious. And many of the "groundbreaking" ideas that made the movies and story great were ripped off from other authors.
