Default Olivia Newton-John's daughter felt abandoned

    Rex Features

Olivia Newton-John's daughter has revealed that she felt abandoned by her famous mum when she was a child.

Singer Chloe Lattanzi opened up about her childhood on MTV reality show Rock The Cradle, which sees unknown offspring of already-successful musicians compete to become stars in their own right.

Lattanzi, 22, said she "spent a lot of time alone in big houses" while the Grease star was on tour, saying: "My mum travelled a lot, so I think I missed out a lot when I was younger.

"I suffered from anorexia and that has been the darkest time in my life."

Lattanzi faces competition from the children of Dee Snider, Kenny Loggins, Bobby Brown, MC Hammer, Joe Walsh, Doobie Brothers singer Tom Johnston and R&B star Al B. Sure!

This was in People last week. Basically, Chloe blames her parents for her anorexia, because they weren't there for her. And, she says she's recovered now.

Matt Lattanzi was a hot piece back in the day.

she's not recovered if she's still blaming mummy and daddy for all her problems.

Shut the fuck up. You lift your arm, place fork in mouth and chew.

Sometimes the joys of a big flash house and money and food everywhere just dont have the appeal that a loving mothers arms and heart would. It would be like having everything, but feeling like you have nothing. She could have had the singing career (apparently she sings) and the lifestyle, but aparently needed her mother more than she needed any of that.

anorexia is a complex mental disorder that often takes years to recover from, and sadly it's not as simple as "just eating"

Introduce me to someone born after 1985 WITHOUT 'abandonment issues', when the term was slathered all over the media like butter at a biscuit party. I know there are one or two...but most of them are still living at home.
