Default Parade Magazine's annual "What People Earn" list for 2007

    This Is Depressing

Parade Magazine's annual "What People Earn" issue is out and it was basically created to remind us how poor we are. I will think of Miley Cyrus' millions when I'm eating my 25 cent Top Ramen and popcorn dinner. It will make my dinner taste that much grosser. I shouldn't say that. Top Ramen mixed with buttered popcorn is so damn delicious.

Oprah once again topped the list. They should just stop counting her. The woman needs her own currency or something. Better yet, they should just put "Richer Than Fuck" next to her name on these kind of lists. No dollar amount required.

Here's the complete list of what some skanks earned in 2007 and don't even ask me how dumb fuck Dr. Phil earned that much money. Brit Brit must have signed over her fortune to him.

    Oprah Winfrey: $260 million
    Tiger Woods: $115 million
    Steven Spielberg: $110 million
    Dr. Phil McGraw: $90 million
    50 Cent: $33 million
    Gisele Bundchen: $33 million
    Miley Cyrus: $18.2 million
    Mary-Kate Olsen: $17 million
    Ryan Seacrest: $12 million
Trouble (Leona Helmsley’s dog): $12 million
    Eli Manning: $11.5 million
    Katherine Heigl: $11 million
    Jeff Foxworthy: $10 million
    Jessica Alba: $9 million
    Mariska Hargitay: $7 million
    Carrie Underwood: $7 million
    Scarlett Johansson: $5 million

The only bitch on this list that deserves all their money is Trouble! The hot bitch has been through a lot and deserves to spend the rest of her days getting anal exfoliation while sipping on filet mignon juice.

I wonder if Miley gives all her money to Jesus, because you know that she makes all her money FOR Jesus. She does everything for Jesus!

    Cool

I like how Trouble made the list... making me feel super shitty about myself

and I'm totally trying that popcorn & Ramen idea!

And I'm pretty sure the good doctor made all that money by all his videos, books, "retreats", etc. All the Oprah worshipers probably pre-order his shit.

No wonder these celebs are eternally whining to the magazines and media about how much they are "suffering," how bad they have it in the industry, what trauma they suffered in their childhood.

Hell, I'd feel guilty myself for earning insane money doing nothing harder than looking good for the camera and reciting some lines.

At least CEO's, the good ones, create value for their company and help keep jobs.

    What celebrities earned in 2007

Parade Magazine has just released their annual “Who earns what” issue, with a healthy dose of celeb salaries. For all the press you hear about Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, she didn’t rake in nearly as much money as I would have thought. I was pretty sure that she’d rival Oprah or something, but that’s hardly the case. Miley brought in a respectable $18.2 million last year. Certainly nothing to sneeze at. But that’s chump change compared to Oprah’s $260 million. Keep in mind we’re not talking about net worth here, we’re just talking about what they earned in a year. Here are a few other celebs’ 2007 earnings, just to make you feel badly.
    Miley Cyrus: $18.2 million
    • Katherine Heigl: $11 million
    • Jessica Alba: $9 million
    • Dr. Phil McGraw: $90 million
    • Steven Spielberg: $110 million
    • Ryan Seacrest: $12 million
    • Mariska Hargitay: $7 million
    • Trouble (Leona Helmsley’s dog): $12 million
    • Tiger Woods: $115 million
    • Jeff Foxworthy: $10 million
    • Oprah Winfrey: $260 million
    • Mary-Kate Olsen: $17 million
    • Gisele Bundchen: $33 million
    • Scarlett Johansson: $5 million
    • Eli Manning: $11.5 million
    • 50 Cent: $33 million
    • Carrie Underwood: $7 million
    [From the Huffington Post]
It’s a weird day when I sit around feeling sorry for Scarlett Johansson. She’s the bottom earner on that list I’m a little pissed off about Leona Helmsley’s dog, but I can deal with it. But more than anything, I was confused by Jeff Foxworthy’s appearance at all. Do people still find him funny? I thought he stopped being relevant at least ten years ago. But apparently if you can recycle the same seven jokes long enough, you can do pretty well for yourself.

I'm just trying to get my head around the idea that Katherine Heigl and Jessica Alba both earned roughly twice as much as ScarJo.

I'd take it if someone were willing to pay it.
