Vanilla Ice Arrested for Domestic Violence

Vanilla Ice, aka Robert Van Winkle, was arrested tonight, and charged with simple domestic battery. His wife, Laura Van Winkle, called police saying Ice was hitting and kicking her. When police arrived around 7:15 PM deputies reported the wife had now changed her story and said Ice had NOT hit or kicked her, but had pushed her. After claiming she was a victim of domestic abuse she told cops she wanted a divorce from her husband. Sounds like a setup. Deputies also reported the wife appeared uninjured, and was less than forthcoming. The wife told deputies:

"He started yelling at me for going out to buy a bedroom set. In front of my daughter. I’m sorry I can’t say any more until I talk to an attorney."

Cops found Ice was not at home when they arrived, but was about two blocks away on his motorcycle. Ice told deputies he and his wife had been arguing since the previous day, that she is bipolar, takes medication, but still has irrational and argumentative episodes. During an argument earlier in the day Ice said his wife threw a frame a rear balcony to the ground, where it shattered near him and their 8 year-old and 10-year-old children.
Deputies report Ice denied pushing his wife, and had left on his motocycle so they could cool down. With the wife hiding behind her attorney she already seems like she was the perptrator, but deputies arrested Ice, because he had been arrested in South Florida before in 2004 on a domestic battery charge.

That doesn't suprise me. After watching bits of that reality show he was in (can't remember the name) and see him having numerous tantrums, it's not a stretch to imagine this. The way he went crazy after feeling betrayed by Ron Jeremy was scary. Arrogant nutbag.

I shouldn't even know this, but he never shaved his eyebrow. It's a scar that does not grow hair. My sister subscribed to Entertainment Weekly back in the day.

When he was Surreal Life I really started to dispise him. I didn't like him before, but after, I hated him. He's a total loose cannon and has some serious anger issues. Yet, professed his undying love for his wife and kid the whole time.

He's an asshole.
