When the going gets tough, Daniel Craig gets going.
The 007 actor could be seen performing his own stunts as filming of the new James Bond movie, The Quantum Of Solace, moved to Italy.
Craig, who turned 40 last month, was in the thick of the action as he shot a bus-chase scene in Siena that had him sprinting and diving across the rooftops. Scroll down for more...
License to thrill: Daniel Craig plunges onto the speeding bus on set in Siena, Italy
At one point he jumps down onto the roof of the speeding bus, although he did have the protection of a wire - to be lost in the production process - and, hidden under his trousers, some knee pads.
Shooting for Quantum has also been taking place in South America, and during a break in filming, Craig failed to stifle a yawn. Scroll down for more...
Running scared: A safety-harnessed Daniel Craig leaps from roof to roof
By the end of filming, thanks to the make-up artists and a long day, the British star looked shattered.
After enjoying plaudits for Casino Royale, Craig started work on his second outing as 007 last August and has been training and shooting non-stop ever since.
Just two days after wrapping in Chile, raig and the crew returned to Tuscany for this 15-minute sequence.

For your tired eyes only: Daniel Craig struggles to contain his tiredness
At least the Bond crew received a better reception than they did in Chile, where Carlos Lopez, the mayor of the northern village of Baquedano, burst onto the set in his Honda Accord in protest that the village was being used to represent Bolivia - its significantly poorer neighbour.
After Lopez sent two police officers flying with his vehicle rush, he was arrested and charged with trespassing and public disorder.
Lopez told reporters: "When I drove onto the set, Daniel Craig was filming. I put my vehicle between the camera and the actor, who has nothing in common with the secret agent 007, as he fled in terror."
The film-makers EON Productions confirmed Craig was filming with Ukrainian actress Orla Kurylenko when Lopez burst onto the set.
Marketing director Anne Bennett said: "We were filming at a railway station and he drove through a police cordon. He trespassed on private property.
"He drove at a line of police surrounding the site.
"Two policemen had to jump out of the way but fortunately nobody was injured.
"He drove over to a vehicle being driven by Daniel Craig and with leading lady Olga Kurylenko as a passenger.
"We have security on our sets and Daniel has security. There was also a police presence there and he was arrested by police."
After filming is completed in Italy, the crew will move on to Austria later this month before returning to Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire in June.
The film, also starring Dame Judi Dench as M and British newcomer Gemma Arterton as Agent Fields, is scheduled for release on October 31.
