Britney Spears Lands Bad Skin 'Award'

Britney Spears has been handed a Lifetime Achievement award - for bad skin. The acne-prone pop star has been dishonored with a Skinnies award, presented annually by skincare expert Dr. Vail Reese on his Skinema.com website.
Dr. Reese suggests Spears should seek advice from fellow star Will Smith, who has been given this year's Action-packed Acne Survivor for the clear skin he sported in blockbuster I Am Legend.
Dr. Reese has praised Smith for beating his adult acne, stating, "Will Smith appears to have found an effective treatment for his condition... he is this year's acne survivor."

Dr. Vail Reese must really have a boring life if this is all he has to do.

I don't know why she just doesn't get laser therapy. I got monthly laser treatments (IPL I think) when I could afford it and that shit WORKS. Stimulates collagen growth too, so you look all dewy and healthy. They even have blue light therapy now for intense acne problems, where you just sit in front of special blue light lamps for 15 minutes. I looked it up and it was running $300-400 per treatment, but all the reviews said it worked on really bad skin. And money is no object for her.

She just needs to get her ass to a dermatologist.

That shit works if you've got a person who is not too lazy to get their ass out of the house instead of sleep all day. Most offices are only open during daytime hours. And those docs do well enough that they don't have to do something like come open the doors at 11pm for people like BritBrit who don't get up and moving until afternoon.

There's an award for this? I've heard it all!!

I got IPL on my face & chest to remove freckles & sun damage and it Hurt like HELL on my chest. I still have the little marks on my chest after 2 years. I wouldn't do it again. It felt like my skin was over an open fire I couldn't even let the seatbelt touch it when I left......

I ws thinking the same thing. And quite frankly, if they'd seen my skin lately I'd be a major contender for this award.

We should make up our own awards for celebs. Their "reward" can be a huge shitpie.

What's going on recently ? I feel like there are new awards given to random people everyday about their looks.

But ... she does have bad skin ...

What the hell did they do? Maybe they set it at a higher setting or something. I got mine for hair reduction and once I was down to only peach fuzz, it didn't hurt cause there wasn't anything to zap. It really did feel like just a rubber band snap, and I'm sure if I'd taken some aspirin beforehand it would have been almost nothing. The blue light thing though, doesn't hurt at all I've read, you just sit in front of the light. She could probably buy the damn machine, it looks portable from pics I've seen.
