She actually looks...kinda...nice in these pictures
As Sex And The City's Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker has long dreamed of being swept off her feet - but here's proof that you should always be careful what you wish for...
The actress was left soaked after a wave crashed into a photoshoot to promote the upcoming movie version of the hit comedy last week.
Ms Parker was posing on a small boat on New York's East River with co-star Chris Noth - known to fans as Carrie's on-off love interest Mr Big - when they were deluged by the icy water.
Celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz, who had been shooting the pair for Vogue magazine, was also drenched, but the actors - not to mention their designer outfits and well coiffured hair - did not seem to come off too badly from the experience.

Before the Storm: Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth pose for Annie Leibovitz in a tiny boat on the grey waters of New York's East River
The wave might have been expected, as powerful Atlantic tides cause wild currents to swell through the East River's narrow channels.
But this hasn't been the only mishap to hit the photoshoot.
Yesterday, 42-year-old Ms Parker tumbled over a red-carpeted stairway in New York's Lincoln Center during another session with Ms Leibovitz - who was at the centre of controversy last year when doctored BBC footage falsely made it appear as if the Queen had stormed out of a portrait session in anger at the photographer's demands.
Ms Leibovitz's latest pictures will be published in time for the worldwide release of the long-awaited Sex And The City film at the end of May.
Several endings have been shot in a bid to keep fans guessing whether perennial singleton Carrie will finally tie the knot with Mr Big.
Miss Parker has given little away, although she recently said: "The movie doesn't pick up right where the series ended. It's a few years later. Scroll down for more ...
Splash Photography: A sudden icy wave crashes into the boat - drenching those on board
"The story - which is like the whole series - is about friendship and growing up and the decisions we make and the triumphs. And it's about the massive disappointment and the mistakes.
"A lot of this movie is going to be surprising to people. This is a grown-up movie."
The TV series ended in 2004 after a six-year run on America's HBO network and Channel 4 in the UK.

She looks less like a horse when her hair is down. And I love, love, love SJP!
She ought to come here for a photo shoot, right now! We are having the worst blizzard we have had in years....Bill and I looked out the window and saw thunder and lightning in among the snowstorm. Our power went out after the lighning cracked...
I was hoping that the lightning cracking at this time would be a good omen for me, like I'd have the nerve to finally face the dentist, overcome the fear, etc.
*Meow* as for SJP, I don't know...
She look good here. I love SJP and cannot wait for the movie even though it will probably be a let down.
Oh for fucks sake - it's only water. Sheesh.
Why do people say "Grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive! If you really wanna get tough, grow a vagina! Those things take a pounding! -Betty White
