Holmes: 'It was love at first sight'
Wednesday, March 5 2008, 14:37 GMT
By Beth Hilton, Entertainment Reporter
 Photorazzi / David Gabber
Katie Holmes has claimed that "time stopped" when she was first introduced to husband Tom Cruise.
The actress, who became engaged to Cruise after a whirlwind romance in 2005, said they had felt an immediate connection.
She told In Style: "It happened in an instant. When you fall in love, it's like time stops."
She added that the relationship was still going strong, saying: "I try every day to make Tom know how much I love him. It gets better and better.
"[He] and I stay in really good communication with each other. I talk to him about anything, at any time. He works 48 hours straight, comes home, and if I ask, 'Would you help me with this?' he'll do it."
Holmes, 29, also praised her husband for his help during the birth of their daughter Suri in 2006.
She said: "I couldn't have asked for a more supportive human being. He had the room ready, candles everywhere. It was very homey and beautiful."

Ya know - I'm starting to believe these crazy kids are actually in love! I mean it has been almost 3 years. They have never strayed from talking about how much they love each other and how wonderful everything is. Who am I to question their sincerity? (sarcasm)

Me thinks they yammer on so much about it that I'm forced to be suspicious. I have a friend who always goes on and on about how much in love she is with whichever dude she's dating at any given time and I never believe it. The constant and incessant 'I am so in love' always strikes me as someone trying to convince themselves. And who needs, after three years and a baby, to continue to go on about when they met?

^^ because it's repetitive, forced, and ridiculous? There comes a point where you stop gushing and if you need to CONSTANTLY remind everyone how 'amazing' and 'wonderful' and 'wonderfully amazing' he is, the lady doth protest too much.
That, plus he's a scientologist and she went along for the brainwashing. Everything about scientologists is fake, repressed and hidden.

Or maybe love at first audit...

She needs to find something to talk about other than how Tom and Suri are the greatest things to ever hit the face of the earth.

I just noticed it seems Katie Holmes has no girlfriends. That is really sad. Jada doesn't count either because Will is Tom's friend, and only Katie's by association. Posh and Katie only hung out for what seems like one week long ago. Sad. Women need their friends.

I love how Tom's always telling her to go to the press, saying how much she loves him and such.

She can't have friends unless they're scientologists. She cut everyone of her old friends and family out of her life because they undoubtedly "suppressive persons" in their language..ie" people who see through the scientology bullshit and will call them on it.
