Cheryl Cole flies back to London to decide the fate of her marriage

A thin Cheryl Cole arrived at Heathrow airport yesterday on her way back from LA as she prepares to decide on the future of her marriage.

A showdown with her football husband Ashley - who was allegedly caught cheating on her with two girls, including hairdresser Aimee Walton, 22 - seems inevitable.

Cheryl has spent most of her time abroad since the allegations were made, and her £80,000 wedding ring is still noticeably absent from her wedding finger.

She first took a holiday to Thailand with fellow band members Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, and then went straight to LA to film the new Girls Aloud show Passions for ITV2.

Cheryl did briefly return to London for the Brit Awards last week, where she reportedly held crisis talks with Ashley, who is said to be desperate to win her back.

While there are reports she has forgiven the love cheat, Cheryl has maintained a dignified silence over the matter.

But it appears the singer has taken to using her maiden name - last week she was greeted by a limo driver at LA airport holding up a one word sign: "Tweedy."

Meanwhile Cheryl's fellow Girls Aloud member Nadine Coyle is still in LA. The 22-year-old missed the Brits, claiming she had lost her passport.
But it has been rumoured that there might be a more romantic reason behind the snub. She is now reportedly dating Hollywood actor Josh Hartnett.

They're both so young! OMG, if she stays with him it will probably be because of lifestyle, money and status.

What woman wouldn't lose or gain weight in that situation?! I haven't heard of either of these two. My guy is an Aston Villa fan. But she is cute and looks better in the more recent pic but it is probably because her hair isn't stupid looking.

I'm completely in the dark. She's a pretty girl though....

No! I have no freaking clue who these Girls Aloud people are - never even heard of them anywhere outside of this site. I take it they're famous in the UK?

I've never heard one of their songs either. I assume since they are a manufactured pop group, they are only marginally talented.

im not a fan but some of their stuff is pretty catchy, most of it is covers tho

im fed up with the will they wont they get back together, its like there waiting on a good mag deal before telling all

I think she was the better known party when they got together, kind of like Posh and Becks. Not a big fan but yeah, some of thier songs (particularly the one that's played onthe radio alot right now) are catchy and fun pop tunes.

As far as her staying, it's a tough call. Sometimes people cheat and relationships can survive, although it's not easy.

I don't know how much overseas exposure they get, or if their popularity is limited to their home country ... but I've never heard of the group before and I've never heard their music. The only reason I know her is through him, which is kind of funny because I'm not a soccer fan and I don't follow the players.

I thought I had read an article here somewhere about her going after him because he was a soccer player, and people saying she was very obvious about wanting to be a soccer wife. If that's the case, I could possibly see her staying because of the continued notoriety.
