WE always wondered how Paris Hilton makes money. Sure, she "stars" in a movie every now and then, she's made an album, has a fragrance and a shoe line — but all of those bombed badly. Now, we hear her real income comes courtesy of Las Vegas clubs. Insiders say Pure, which is being probed by the IRS, pays Hilton upward of $1.2 million a year to host parties and show up — and that club LAX also gives her a hefty six-figure sum every time she shows up. Both clubs deny paying Hilton.

I don't understand the benefit to the club. Sure, the night she will be there will most likely draw huge crowds but that can't possibly compensate for the huge expense of paying her to be there. I guess I'm looking at this too 'black & white'.

It's hardly a secret that she is paid to attend parties/clubs. I've known it for at least 3 years. There's been lots written about it. There was even a documentary on TV -- Paris Hilton, Inc or something like that -- a few nights ago where it was discussed/documented. She's never denied it. Page Six is really scraping for tidbits because that is old, old "news."

Hahaha You are too funny. This piece is an obviously PR plant. In the week where she abandon's her little brother to go partying in Vegas, is seen at 5 parties over her birthday weekend, but she's not in Vegas to enjoy herself - she's there to work. Just like hookers in a bar don't drink.
I thought that you'd get the joke. The only interesting part is that her price is mentioned (& that doesn't happen very often) and that one of her employers are being investigated by the IRS.... On previous prices that's 6 visits per year.
