Jessica Alba will only speak Spanish to her baby

Jessica Alba says she plans to speak to her baby in Spanish exclusively.
The problem? Jessica doesn’t know Spanish.
“I wish to God that my dad spoke Spanish to my brother and me, but he didn’t grow up with it.”
“Hopefully I can pick it up because I want my kids to speak Spanish. I don’t even want them to speak English for maybe the first two to three years, until pre-school.”
“We’re in the United States so they’re going to learn it anyway.”

If only she spoke Spanish! That's going to e a very limited mother-child relationship.
Hello mother fucker! when you ask a question read also the answer instead of asking another question on an answer who already contain the answer of your next question!

It was probably gonna be a very limited mother-child relationship anyway. I have a feeling that most of Jess's relationships are limited.

If only she'd extend 'the Spanish rule' to the rest of us. We could hear a lot less from Ms Alba.

Does she ever think before she opens her mouth? I can't stand her.

That child's gonna have fucked up speaking skills, if it's taught just simple Spanish. If she thinks her kid will learn English, just because it's America's main language and she'll just 'hear it'.... wow. That's.... wow.

If I had an Asian kid, and we went to Japan, and thought the kid could learn Japanese just because it was the countries main language, the kid's going to be confused as to what to actually speak.

You don't learn a language just by listening to other people near you speak it. Especially if they aren't talking directly to you. I haven't learned Spanish yet, even though sometimes I keep on the Spanish speaking channel, and you know why? Because I don't know what 99% of the words mean, and they speak too fast for me to catch up on it.

Alba really is a fucking idiot. But who knows, maybe she'll be "lucky", and the child will be born mute so she won't have to teach it anything.

In practice it's a great idea. If you're a bilingual family then it's great to speak both languages. The kids suck it up and learn just by hearing (yes, it's true) and I know what I speak of.

The problem here is that she doesn't actually speak Spanish so unless she goes on some crazy-assed intensive course between now and delivery she hasn't a hope in hell.

I totally agree with you. The child is definately going to need to learn Spanish to speak with the nanny that it will be watched over by 24/7.
