Good. I hope so. I'd be livid if I had a child who watched that show and they kept it on the air. This shows them that big mistakes like that have negative consequences even for famous teens.

Out of work, pregnant, and single - water seeks it's own level, but she took the scenic route getting there.

I am confused i thought that fourth season was supposed to be the last season for Zoey 101 anyway even before JL announced her pregnancy. I'm probably getting my wires mixed up but i am sure i read that somewhere.

well if they shot the fourth season already, and still cancel it and do not air the fourth season..then I will be impressed. What else could they do really?

That's exactly what they're saying, that even though the the fourth season was the final season and was already filmed they're NOT going to air it. They basically are being forced to throw away a completed final season, probably from pressure from parents and advertisers. Well, if what the London Sun says is true, anyway.

I'm curious, if the episodes have already been shot, has she been payed anything or do actors get the money only after they air? Does anyone know how it works?

Good to know. Imagine the backlash if Nickelodeon did run this?

I would have been furious if they'd kept that girl on the air after all this shit. I mean COME ON. It's supposed to be all innocence and butterflies on that show right? Gimme a break. Glad to see it gone...and her.

She got pregnant at 16. I am sure she is not the only one. She is just the only one who decided to keep it.
Should she be a role model to other children? No. Then again, many of the teen shows in recent memory have been absolute trash and filth. She is not the only star whom I think is a bad role model.
Nick could not broadcast that as I am sure they would have been picketed and hung out to dry. I hope JLS can turn this into a positive. To have reared herself, she did a pretty damn good job. She isn't a complete mess like her twenty something sister, who became a f*ck up in her twenties.

I'm pretty sure she got paid for the work she did. So the network lost all that money on filming a series that it won't air. The good news is that JLS will not see residuals from the show because there won't be any reruns. At least not of the unaired season.
