Britney Spears: Not "Well Enough" to Be Invited on American Idol

Though one film director thinks she's worthy of playing the Virgin Mary, Britney Spears — Us' worst dressed celeb of the year — isn't quite worthy of being a guest judge on Fox's American Idol.
"I would have had Britney Spears last year when I thought she was trying to get it all back together again," Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe told Usmagazine.com in a conference call Thursday.
"Britney, at this moment in time, I don't think is well enough to do anything," he continued. "I think she needs looking after. I think she needs to pull herself together."
Lythgoe added that Spears is an "exceptionally talented girl" but "needs taking care of right now."

Haha, I hope she realizes this is a huge insult, seeing as how they'll put up with Paula Abdul's high, crazy, slurring ass, but they won't put up with Britney!

i have never missed an American Idol, i absolutely LOVE the show, but i would NEVER watch it again if they gave this broad one bit of airtime.

It's an insult that her record company has tried to pull off her "singing ability" as true talent. I think the world has grown tired of her antics, as well as her lack of talent and dedication. I'd rather watch Paula than her anyday. In fact, I'd rather be forced to listen to William Hung than her!!
