Being heavily under the influence and being so messed up it's enough to kill you are two different things.

The doctor said there was a fatal amount of heroin in his system-- too much for him to function.

The only reason I think he was killed is because of the amount of heroin in his body at the time of death. Invesigators have said it is next to impossible for someone with that much heroin in their system to pick up and hold anything...let alone a shot gun...which was too long for him even to reach with his hands while holding the barrel to his head.

I agree, Bijoux, (and Sweetness, who also discusses this issue). This is, i think, the strongest out of many things that point toward murder--because it is SCIENCE. Experts & doctors have said that even an extremely hardcore heroin addict would have been killed INSTANTLY by the amount of heroin that was in his body. In fact, that it would have killed him instantly 3 TIMES OVER!!! ( ) That there is NO WAY he could have even PICKED UP a gun, never mind aimed it & pulled the trigger.

And, VenusInFauxFurs: Yes, the speculation is that Kurt was injected by someone else.--By the murderer/hitman. Most likely just to have heroin be a part of the so-called *suicide* for the purpose of reinforcing the idea in peoples' minds that the *reason* Kurt was *committing suicide* was due to his heroin addiction.

There's just too much evidence pointing to Kurt being killed for me to believe that he offed himself. Just because Courtney didn't get caught does not mean she is innocent. Her own father believes she was involved!

Oh wow, cool that you remember that. I enjoyed talking about that case too. Mysteries like the JonBenet & Cobain matters, etc., really interest me. (I guess topics like those bring out the Paralegal & law student in me.)

^^EXACTLY. And yes, i almost mentioned the fact that her own father thinks she had Kurt killed! It's cool that you are interested in & well-read on this subject...It's a pretty intrigueing case once you start reading about it, isn't it! Makes me so mad Courtney got away with murder, though.
