The chemistry between Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiancé Ross McCall wasn't the only thing turning heads December 2 as they made their way arm-in-arm through Maui International Airport: The actress, 28, showed off her engagement ring for the first time!
The Ghost Whisperer star has been engaged to McCall, 32, a Scottish actor, for two weeks, as Usmagazine.com reported exclusively.
The engagement ring has been in McCall's family for over a century, Us reports.
When the good news broke, the couple had been vacationing in Hawaii, where photographs of Hewitt in a bikini caused her to blog in defense of her body: "A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful."
There is no word on their wedding date.

Ugly ring. The whole "it's been in his family for years" doesn't impress me. I don't want some old lady's ring. Give me my own or give me one out of my side of the family.

Also, she isn't a size 2 and the pictures weren't just taken at "bad angles".

He got it for me because I like vintage.But I agree,this one looks weird,I can't tell what the design is,looks like a pot leaf

I think it is very sweet and enduring to give one a engagement ring that has been in the family. It's a true commitment to the past, present and future together. To give a family heirloom is very special, better than any big huge diamond that most of these women celebrities usually buy for themselves because their fiance is a loser.

(Seriously, why do women with flab that bad insist on wearing bikini bottoms that are at least five sizes too small? Do they not realize that they can find top and bottom bikini pieces that are sold individually, so that everything fits?)

Congrats to them both but that girl is not a size 2. Not that anyone should care what her size it, but why lie about it if you're trying to make a statement for womankind!

I like what she had to say, but I agree she shouldn't have mention the size 2 thing. She discredited herself by including it. I do like her though because she seems genuine.

^^Yeh i totally agree....and in a pet store of all places!!

. Don't get me wrong i like her she's been in the business for along time and has managed to stay grounded..i admire that. But looking at her recent candids and reading her comments she's starting to look really desperate for attention....she is totally going to milk this engagement publicity until we all get sick of her.
