Can you say "dumb"???

JUST weeks after the drama of her Sydney court battle was played out, Nicole Kidman is facing a new legal stink over a story about her favourite perfume.
British broadsheet The Daily Telegraph is seriously on the nose with Kidman's legal team after it ran an article alleging her favourite scent was Jo Malone's White Jasmine and Mint - not Chanel No.5, with which Kidman has a sponsorship deal worth $12 million.
An item which appeared in the paper's Spy gossip column last week claimed the actress had jeopardised her position as a celebrity spokeswoman for Chanel No.5 after she allegedly applied the Jo Malone scent while walking the red carpet at the London premiere of new film The Golden Compass.
The paper reported Kidman was "dabbing it on whenever she had a moment" during the A-list premiere, which she attended with husband Keith Urban.
The article continued cosmetic giant Chanel was allegedly unhappy with the actress, and that her behaviour had apparently constituted a "breach of contract".
Kidman has gone further than turning her nose up at the report - last week she set media law firm Schillings on to the broadsheet.
In a statement, Schillings said the allegations were "entirely untrue" and "grossly defamatory".
"We have today been instructed to obtain an immediate retraction of such allegations and are taking separate action against The Daily Telegraph," Schillings said.
Kidman's publicist Wendy Day yesterday had no comment on the matter.
Sniff ... something allegedly stinks about Kidman's recent red carpet appearance, but has she changed Chanels? / supplied

I didn't start out to collect diamonds, but somehow they just kept piling up.-Mae West
Oh, it was an honest mistake - I forget about my pesky 12 million dollar endorsement deals all the time.
My my, didn't we all just dip our tongues in some acid today.
From the thread title, I thought this was going to be about Kidman's raging BO problem!
This seems a bit petty, seeing as she didn't necessarily endorse Jo Malone's scent. But I suppose it was a 12 million dollar contract.
This article aside, in the last several months I have observed a change in the media to Nicole. Some journalists have really been ripping her to shreds.
I like that picture of her. I would love to have that Chanel necklace.
^^ She looks gorgeous there..... they must've photoshopped the hell out of it.
Sigh. To be rich and famous = getting sued by everyone and their mother.
So, she's never allowed to wear any other perfume?!
^^ That's usually how it goes with endorsements. They expect celebs not to talk about any other product. i.e. Angelina and St. John, Cristina Aguilera and that whole pepsi/coke fiasco.
For 12 million dollars, I would bathe in chanel no. 5
Wow, I want to try that Jo Malone's White Jasmine and Mint if Nicole Kidman is willing to lose $12 million to wear it, it must smell awesome!!!
