Melanie Griffith's number plate sends a message of love to Antonio Banderas

They've been married for more than a decade, but Melanie Griffith's affection for husband Antonio Banderas is stronger than ever.

The actress, who already has a heart shaped tattoo in his honour, has purchased persanlised number plates for her black BMW in yet another public romantic gesture.

The 50-year-old, who has a daughter Stella with the Spanish actor, proudly show off her MG 'hearts' AB plates as she cruised around Beverly Hills yesterday.

Mother of three Melanie is not the only one to be won over by the charasmatic leading man.

Antonio is currently starring in a glamorous Christmas advertising campaign for Marks & Spencer.

Romantic: Melanie's affection for her husband is as strong as ever

He appears alongside the retailer's established leading ladies - Twiggy, Erin O'Connor, Laura Bailey, Noemie Lenoir and Lizzy Jagger, in an advert which takes its inspiration from the golden age of Hollywood.

The Shrek star said: "I know how popular the ads and the company are in the UK - even though it's a pretty tall order to follow Shirley Bassey!"
The advert shows the five women as alleged rivals for the attention of one man, played by Banderas but introduced only as "Him", whose identity remains secret until the last scene.

He has always seemed to be very in love with her. She needs to lay off the PS though. There is something to be said for growing old gracefully or less puffily.

I totally agree. I don't care what she does, but he needs to cool it with the plastic surgery.
