10 yrs is a good run. I think it was just time. Emeril, his fans and the public shouldn't make it bigger than it is. I'm sure there are bigger projects in the works for him. Perhaps he wants to dedicate more time to traveling, making public appearances, writing books or being a bit more involved with his restaurants. Going to a studio day after day for 10 yrs can't be what it's cracked up to be. I'm sure it ties you down and maybe he needs the freedom away from it.
