Jude Law loves being single.

The Hollywood heartthrob - who was previously married to Sadie Frost and engaged to Sienna Miller - is happy being a bachelor and is enjoying not having the pressure of being in a relationship.

The 'Sleuth' star - who has three children, Rafferty, 11, Iris, seven, and five-year-old Rudy, with Sadie - said: "I am very happy and I feel very settled with myself. I don't feel as needy and desperate to prove things. In my twenties I was very keen to achieve this and prove I wasn't just a pretty boy. I am over that. I am also single for the first time in 16 years. Since I was 19, I'd always been in relationships and now I enjoy being able to concentrate on my children, my work and my myself."

However, the 34-year-old actor doesn't want to remain single forever even though he knows his fame can bring romantic headaches.

He added: "When I think about my relationships being in the spotlight, it is a burden. But that won't mean I'll be single for the rest of my life, I hope!"

When was he ever a Hollywood Heartthrob (was he ever that famous in America)? Haven't all of his movies bombed in the states? Eh.

Well, at least the guy's happy with his life right now. People who are married and miserable annoy me. The ones who complain about their spouses and all that. Then there's single people who are always griping about being 'alone'. Be happy with the current state you're in because there's a time for everything. If Jude's okay with his single status, good for him. There SHOULD be more people like that.
