Sounds like the Madonna and Guy both decided not to celebrate xmas together, you made it sound like Madonna put her foot down and cancelled xmas while everyone sat around crying for gifts,
More people need to address the greed and gratuitous consuming issues of our western culture. If one cant fill ones' house with needless gifts and wasteful lawn ornaments that use precious energy we seem to think they are hard done by. Kudos to madonna and her husband!
C'mon people, lets celebrate LOVE everyday!

Give me a break. You are talking about the material girl. REMEMBER. She is the epitomy of opulance and luxury. She gave up Christmas and the holiday season because she doesn't believe in it and she doesn't want her kids to believe in it either.

I wonder if the children are allowed to accept Christmas gifts from their family members? Wouldn't you think that Lola's father would send her a gift and possibly send gifts to her brothers as well?

Meh, by not celebrating Christmas, she gets more time in the gym! 
And her kids can turn on the TV, do Christmassy things and celebrate with the nannies - just like every other day ...
