Britney’s blaming her inhaler for her false positive drug test. Yeah that’s it. The inhaler. Who knew a chain smoking, poorly driving, drinks too much trainwreck would have asthna? Oh she doesn’t have asthma?
Well I guess she does now.

back in my 'bad girl' days, some of the people that did drugs, used to put their crack, crystal, crank, coke, what have you, in the inhaler. hmm wonder if brits smart enough to do that? or stupid enough

Ok, Pulmacort (an asthma med that would maybe have a diferent sales name in youre neck of the woods )- could explain the presence of steroids but not opiates.

I'm no expert but doesn't a false positive usually come from trying to cover you your drug use with a home piss kit? Like I said, I'm no expert.

Saying that an Albuterol asthma inhaler, caused a drug test to come up positive for Amphetamines, is preposterous. Does she think everyone is all a bunch of complete idiots that would believe this nonsense??!? I am on an Albuterol asthma inhaler (for REAL asthma--unlike that chain-smoking assclown who uses it as an "appetite suppressant"--she's such a mess), and NEVER have i tested positive for Amphetamines in my drug tests at the Pain Management Clinic. Give me a break, Shitney, you stupid moron! You tested positive for Amphetamines, because YOU OBVIOUSLY DID SOME AMPHETAMINES, like perhaps Crystal Meth.

Oh & about the poppy-seed bagels: They can, in rare cases, make you test positive for Opiates (since Opiates originate from poppies)--but not for Amphetamines or anything else.

Having tested for a false positive of Amphetimines before, I can say this: If you have an acute amount of Tylenol, Aspirin, Aleve etc in your system, it can lead to either a false barbitute or amph false positive.

I know this, from personal reasons. I have a heart condition, and passed out at work. I had been having terrible headaches so I was taking tylenol as often as was allowed.

During my lovely stay in the hospital it came out they thought I had taken amphetimines which caused my heart condition. They swore it, and even wanted to transport me to a drug rehab after leaving the hospital.

Come to find out, my sister did research on the topic, and showed the hospital all her findings.

Not saying this is true in Brit's case, but having been there done that, can go by my experiences.

Many things, cause false positives.

A lot of people I know always write down on their forms when having drug tests that they've taken some kind of cold&flu tablet with pseudoephadrine in it cause that will explain a positive reading. Unlike you, they are actually trying to create a 'false positive'. But it also depends on how much amphetamines are in your system - a 3-day speed bender will kind of dash any hope of being able to use the old "cold & flu tablet" trick. Also most tests now test seperately for amphetamines and methamphetamines... the "cold & flu tablet" trick doesn't work for meth.
