Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has slammed fellow British singer Amy Winehouse, claiming the troubled star's fondness for alcohol leaves her unable to perform onstage.

The 24-year-old-- who recently announced she feels "no sympathy for drug addicts"-- has criticized the Rehab hitmaker for her unimpressive performance to date at the MTV Europe Music Awards earlier this month.

Winehouse surprised fans by mumbling through a performance of hit Back To Black at the ceremony in Munich, Germany, and appeared to have forgotten the song's lyrics.

Cole says, "You know what it's like? When a pub singer's pissed and they go 'shoobedoo waah'."

Don't care who Cheryl Cole is and maybe her career does suck. But she's right about Amy being a loser idiot.

But let some junkie luck up and have catchy tune out there and people will defend them and give them X-infinity number of chances til their last breath.

There are shitloads of people out there who haven't made it yet with at least as much talent as this frighteningly fugly Whinehouse chick. Who might actually appreciate the chance instead of pissing it away with light speed two seconds after they get name recognition.
