American movie star Angelina Jolie is joining British people by marking Remembrance Day by wearing a traditional poppy pinned to her coat.

The A-lister was spotted with partner Brad Pitt leaving a night-spot displaying the bright red poppy in memory of thousands of soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The 32-year-old prides herself on humanitarian work and has now added the Poppy Appeal to the long list of charities she supports.
Jolie has recently been at the centre of a debate about her sudden weight loss which she blamed on grief over the loss of her mother.
Despite her slender figure, there are persistent rumours that Jolie, who starred in Tomb Raider six years ago, is expecting her second child with Brad Pitt.
The couple have three adopted children, Maddox, six, Zahara, two, and the most recent addition, Pax Thien, three. They also have their own baby, Shiloh, who was born last year.

I completely forgot it was Remembrance Sunday today until I was woken up by a parade marching past my house playing horns, trumpets and drums followed by little primary school kids dress up as Brownies and Cub Scouts..awww. The noise scared the living daylights out of me but i guess i can live with it for one day out of the year.

I guess karma has come their way. They both look worse for the wear. Angie looks like the living dead since she lost all the weight. And Brad is showing his age and dresses like a smelly bum all the time.

i couldn't see any poppies on sale for remembrance day until the actual day, and that was in my local pub. I just put a quid in the box but didn't bother with the poppy as it was over really. I do like the fact that the UK has changed it from just being about WWI & II to being about every commonwealth soldier who has given his life for all wars. 85 brits died this year in Iraq and Afghanistan for wars we didn't really want to get involved in.
