Kim Cattrall says she's only doing Sex and the City Movie for $$$ to buy London home

Sex And The City's Kim Cattrall has revealed that she's only returned to her famous role for the cash as she wants to buy a pad in London.

The blonde bombshell, best known as maneater Samantha, says: 'It will be nice to step into Samantha's skin again but I'm only doing the film for the money.

'Samantha is very dear to me and I have such a wonderful time playing her, but I can't say more for the experience than wanting financial security.'

Kim, 51, has taken a leaf out of her character's book as she is currently dating a man half her age!

She’s currently dating gorgeous Canadian chef, 29-year-old Alan Wyse, but insists after three failed marriages, she won't be tying the knot again. 'I'm happy as I am,' she says.

'I was lucky to be in my forties and offered the role of Samantha, who was so sexual. That's one of the reasons I didn't want to do it - I didn't think I was up to it.'

Judging by some of her final scenes with Smith, she proved she was definitely up to the job!

I so love Sex & The City! I have all 6 x series on DVD and can happily spend an entire weekend watching episode after episode...

I so can't wait til this movie comes out... I miss the girls!

Samantha was the only character I didn't like on Sex and the City. They could leave her out entirely and I wouldn't mind a bit. In fact, I'd probably enjoy the movie more.

Kudos to her for being honest.
And I totally believe her because word on the street is her and SJP cannot STAND eachother. I bet SJP is pissed Kim went to the press with this.
Samantha, IMO, was the best of all four of them. Without her, SATC was not the same. She had the best lines.
I always loved her in Mannequin. Best movie ever!

All of them are doing it for the money. At least she admits it. She never made that much during the series ...so best to cash in now.

SATC wouldn't be the same without Samantha!!!

At least she's being honest and not being all fakey-fakey, like "we're such good girlfriends and we couldn't stand being apart" BS that the other three will try to sell to everyone that will listen.
