Katie Holmes finishes marathon, Thetan level remains the same
Katie Holmes ran the 26.2 miles of the New York City Marathon today, but that still wasn't far enough to outdistance herself from hubby Tom Cruise.
Cruise was waiting at the finish line for Katie, along with the couple's Scientolotot, Suri. Katie finished the marathon with a time of 5:29:58 -- good enough for 34,195th place. Looks like she'll have to audit the marathon again next year.

As OK! was the first to report several weeks ago, Katie Holmes quietly slipped into her running shoes this morning and, along with almost 40,000 other dedicated runners, ran more than 26 miles through the streets of Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Manhattan to complete the grueling New York City Marathon.
The morning began at sunrise for the Cruise/Holmes family, as they departed their room at the Carlyle hotel at 6:30am. However, the race itself was all about a personal effort by Katie, as the Thank You for Smoking actress was able to run almost the entire distance going unnoticed by cameras or other runners.
It wasn't until Katie entered the stretch, about 15 miles into the race, along Manhattan's 1st Ave, where a clandestinely dressed Tom awaited her to give her a congratulatory kiss. Sources tell OK! that her superstar hubby had also planned on throwing a huge bash at Tavern On the Green with all her family flown in from Ohio. According to reports, Katie finished the race in 5 hours and 29 minutes.
In the months leading up to the race, OK! reported that Katie had been quietly training during early morning runs in both Berlin, where Tom was filming his upcoming movie Valkyrie, and around their neighborhood in Beverly Hills.
"Kate is determined to finish the race," a source close to the couple revealed to OK! at the time. "She's as fit and toned as ever."
Tom, Katie and little baby Suri all arrived in the Big Apple early Friday morning, after taking a red-eye flight on a private jet from Los Angeles, where the couple had strode the red carpet for the premiere of Tom's new film Lions For Lambs, where some not-so-keen observers convinced themselves that Katie was hiding a baby bump under her dress.

Wow, I'm impressed that she finished a marathon. That's no walk in the park. I imagine training for a marathon is a great thing to distract her from the reality of her sham life.

SHIT! I couldn't pull off running a mile in highschool during a 45 minute gym class. 26 miles in 5 hours? DAMN!
Girl deserves a foot rub and a cookie.

^^I'm embarrassed to say, but years ago, I bought a book of this shit. Wasn't aware of who LRHubbard was and no concept of CO$. Started reading the first chapter and I freaked. Made sure I destroyed the book so nobody else could read it. (It was on a TV commercial back then, so I thought it would be a super-inspiring book.......then I super-destroyed it in fire!) I feel shame....
