Paris Hilton: Rwanda trip is next year
Paris Hilton says her postponed trip to Rwanda will take place in 2008, and she is still intent on bringing the suffering of other cultures to the attention of a younger generation.
"We were supposed to be going in November, but then the charity is doing restructuring and figuring things out," Hilton tells Extra. "It's going to be for next year."
The former Simple Life star, 26, said her philanthropy will not be dimished by the temporary setback.
"I want to travel the world," she says. "I feel like there's a lot I can do, and a lot I can do to help. I know [Rwanda] went through a lot of traumatic experiences, and I feel like if I go there, I can help save some people's lives."
The African nation was the scene of genocide in 1994.
Hilton sees her role as a motivational one for a younger generation not well versed in charity work.
"I lot of people do help, but they may be in the older generation," she says. "I want kids to know, even if you're 15 or 16 years old, you can do something."

Oh but Paris, we all know you're never going to Rwanda anyways. Not now, next year, or in a million years from now...

WTF? You dumb bitch, way to have an overinflated ego, like you can do shit for these people. You probably couldn't even find Rwanda on a map, and you don't give a shit about these people. What, this racist skank suddenly wants to help the people of Rwanda? Give me a break. I am so sick of all these celebrities and their "do-gooder" missions thinking that we actually buy into all their shit, when she has no idea what these people have gone through or even the history behind these genocides. You're just a dumb twit, I'd have more respect for you if you'd just stay home, you stupid whore.

My sister has been there with work. It is rough, with very few creature comforts.
I hope PH is kidnapped by some sort of tribe....or something.

That would sound more convincing if it wasn't coming from somebody whose been caught saying the N-word more than once. She slips up and says it over there she won't be heard from again. Hmmm, on second thought....Have a nice trip, Paris.

You would be surprised how many teenagers there are that do charity work, and do you know what they all have in common? They don't look up to YOU! I'm sure the ones that do would far prefer to like shop and like text boys over helping others omggg ew!
