I may be in the minority here but I love Roseanne and she's got a point. Brit-brit was pimped out by her mother for much of her childhood, giving her pretty much zero coping skills.

Like her saying that Britney is no better than a crack whore in the street. Hate that she implies she has no accountability for her actions because of her parents. This is not a child, I want to scream! She is almost 26 years old - I know 18 year olds that handle their kid and responsibility better than her.

I was under the impression that in the end her kids turned out ok. I might be wrong but I think they went through thier rebellion right around the time she went a bit bonkers but in the end they're all ok.

Just because someone is grown and considered an adult doesn't mean they don't need guidance from their elders every so often. I think what Roseanne is saying is right on. Britney is a moron, she needs to listen to the judge but her mom needs to step up and for once be a mom. Maybe if she had done that when Britney was a child she wouldn't be all lost and fucked up today. I don't think by saying that, that the blame is taken from Britney, I know she has done all of this to herself and I know she's an adult, but still along the way people need help, not only children need help and guidance from their parents.

^^ Yes, but as an adult, Britters has the right to tell Mumsie to F-off, which she has already done. And if my parents tried to lock me in a basement or have me "guarded" I'd call the police and have them arrested.
