Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have commissioned a $50,000 nursery, seemingly confirming they are expecting a baby.
The 'El Cantante' stars - who have refused to comment on the rumoured pregnancy - visited exclusive baby boutique Petit Tresor on Wednesday (17.10.07), and made arrangements for a $50,000 nursery.
A source at the store told America's OK! magazine: "Petit Tresor will be designing a blue themed baby nursery for Jennifer and Marc. There will also be custom-painted murals on the walls."
After entering the shop - which was closed off to the public for the afternoon - through a concealed back entrance, the parents-to-be spent a leisurely two hours browsing baby goods.
They eventually chose a selection of prams, Moses baskets, blankets, baby clothes and toys.
The couple, who are rumoured to be expecting twins, also ordered a custom-made crib, and wardrobe.
The source added: "They've chosen both 'boy' and 'girl' items, which will be interchangeable, and the nursery's design will be finalised when they know the gender of the baby."
Jennifer recently explained why she hasn't made a public statement about the pregnancy.
She said: "We try to keep our lives as private as possible. We respect the relationship with the media and being able to get out there what we are doing. But we don't parade ourselves in front of the cameras.

Ordering a wardrobe before you even know the sex... yeah that's brilliant. Wait until she realizes how fast they grow and when they are toddler age how fast they trash the "cute little outfits"

I went to the Jennifer Lopez/Marc Anthony concert earlier this month and Jennifer is DEFINITELY pregnant. Her pregnancy and flow-y outfits were distracting. Everyone was hoping she'd just come out and SAY something about it, but she didn't. She did sort of hint around coyly, saying what a wonderful & special year it was for her and Marc, that it was a year of firsts for her, first tour, first Spanish album, etc., nothing she hasn't said before. She seemed very happy, she laughed her unmistakeable laugh many times, but did not seem to gage the mood of the crowd, she wasn't as attentive to them as Marc. She was definitely there to do her thing and be done was the feeling I got.

Marc's voice was amazing and he was great with the audience. He was very nice and interacted with the crowd from the stage a lot. Jennifer wasn't nearly as interactive with the crowd. Somehow I thought she would be. He made no costume changes while Jennifer had several. Maybe because she's pregnant and tired she seemed a little more toned down than what I expected. But she didn't sparkle or shine the way Marc did. She's a performer. He's a singer. I think she's used to a camera. He's used to a live audience. But make no mistake, she IS pregnant. They're just not revealing it to the world.

I can't say I blame her. They have the means and she is expecting her first
child (children). I remember going overboard with our first, not to their extent
of course.
