It's a girl for Nick Nolte

It's a baby girl for Nick Nolte and his longtime partner, Clytie Lane. The baby, who hasn't been named yet, was born Oct. 3 in Los Angeles. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces, the actor's spokesman, Paul Bloch, said Tuesday in a statement.

Mother and daughter were doing well, he said.

Nolte, 66, has a son, Brawley, from a previous marriage. The baby is Lane's first child.

Nolte has received Oscar nominations for his roles in "The Prince of Tides" and "Affliction." He will next appear in the Paramount Pictures film "The Spiderwick Chronicles," and is working on DreamWorks' "Tropic Thunder."

Probably because the women are having to actively do some fairly invasive procedures and pump themselves full of hormones to have a kid at 66. It can happen naturally for a man. Not saying it's right, just sayin'.

Damn, he did used to look pretty damn good. What the hell happened? That's not just 20+ intervening years on his face, that's a sledgehammer.

I think he thought that his sh*t didn't stink and needed to be taken down a peg. He's a fine actor. He should get back to that.
